The person behind the designs

Education to design- a big leap?

I loved working in education; anyone that has spent any time in that system understands that there is no shortage of pain points- the systems are vast, with many factors to consider. But it was never just about the classroom for me; what tickled my brain went far beyond the walls of lessons.  I have spent many years conducting extensive research to improve the wider services and care provided to students and the society in which they belong; aiming to foster a culture of service design that would lead to lasting change.

I worked with inspiring and dedicated individuals; we had limited resources, high pressure to deliver results and still we strived for innovation and change; and the same passion for sustainable change is what drives me today.

Hello! I'm Sophie, a travel enthusiast, art lover, and avid reader, with a wealth of experience built over more than a decade in the education industry. I specialise in User Experience (UX) Design and I have a passion for creating digital products that are seamless and impactful.

I’m a cliché example of someone who spent many years feeling they hadn’t found the job they were destined to do. I have loved pieces of every job I have done but always felt something was missing- until now.

Obsessed with learning—I’m probably one of the few who genuinely enjoyed writing a dissertation because of the deep dive into research. UX and product design evolve constantly, just like every other industry, which means I’m always exploring new insights in design, business, UX, and growth, and discovering how these elements intersect.

Me, in the middle of a student swarm!

My current work within Product Design is grounded in years of educational service improvement to create thoughtful, user-centered solutions. The connection between UX design and education extends far beyond technology—it’s about crafting experiences that make information and learning universally accessible. I’m passionate about exploring how human-centered design can empower people to connect, learn, and grow.
